What a beautiful wedding! Congratulations to the happy couple, Theresa and Pedro of Toms River, New Jersey. I was honored to be a part of their special day and provided videography (as well as some light photography to supplement their photographer). Here’s a recap of their wedding:
It all started at 8:30 am at the Alchemy Hair Sudio, owned by Alexis Foerst, in Toms River, which I must say was a clean, spacious, and a well-organized salon. The address is1834 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753. They allowed the bride and her entourage to drink mimosas and have bagels and really enjoy their experience. I can honestly say, their hair looked stunning not only at the time it was done, but several hours later. Not a hair was out of place after hours of dancing on the dance floor–which is the true test of a good bridal hair style.
Their prices seemed extremely reasonable and I considered it be a great value after seeing the final product. I forgot to add, they opened specifically that day (a Sunday) for the bride!
Taking video at their salon was so easy. They had gorgeous well decor, ample products shelving, creative signage, and modern, clean equipment. I loved one stylist’s rainbow curling iron!
FacetoFase (Facial Spa & Cosmetic Studio), owned by Leigh Ann Borrelli was also at the salon providing bridal makeup. This was another vendor I was very impressed with. Their makeup style was right up my alley, just a bit dramatic and very polished. Special thanks to them for letting me have some extra time with their makeup to get some video. They definitely brought a wide array of colors and products to compliment everyone in the wedding party.
The venue was the Ramada in Toms River, specifically the Versailles Ballroom. This was a venue I actually looked at for my own wedding in 2013. It was very well organized and went without a hitch. The ceremony was set, decorated, and ready to go hours before the actual ceremony, there was no rushing-at-the-last minute and everything was very timely.
The cocktail hour was FULL of food, more so than the guests could even keep up with.
Here’s a same-day recap video of the day that was sent to the bride the same night:
