Have you been considering a wedding at a local Elk lodge? You want to consider the Lacey Elks location at 900 Beach Blvd.
Our journey with our couple began at the Old Manahawkin Baptist Church (Garden State Historic Preservation Trust Fund). It’s a Gothic Revival Church built in 1759. The grounds contain a site of a Revolutionary War skirmish in 1781. Owned by the Historical Society, the building was widely used for summer concerts and historical tours and weddings.
Here are some photos by our NJ Wedding Photographers:

Note: The church walls are very yellow in case you do not want yellow ceremony photos.
We then headed over to The Manahawkin Train Station, which was moved in 1990 from its original location at Letts and Stafford Ave. to it’s present location in Heritage Park. (In 1883 and 1884, the Pennsylvania Railroad built the first railroad bridge from Manahawkin to Ship Bottom and the down to Beach Haven and north to Barnegat City.) Within the park is also the rebuilt Old Stone Store which stands today in the same place it did in the mid to late 1700s.
Off we went to the Lacey Elks.
Delicious food was provided by Blue Collar Catering. They offer many different options and menus: Clam Bake, Country BBQ, Traditional BBQ, Luau, 50’s Doo Wop,
St. Patrick’s Day, Oktoberfest, Cocktail Party, Traditional Hot Buffet,
Cold Buffet, Brunch along with our Full Service Wedding Reception packages that are complete from the hors-d’oeuvre hour to the cake.
