Finding a Wedding Photographer New Jersey can be difficult. We know what it’s like. So many different photographers have different styles, policies, pricing, and more.

1 – What can you expect to receive?
. The Meyer Photo + Video Group typically averages 1,500-3,000 per wedding. Also, are all your wedding photos edited?
2 – Do you own your photos?
Make sure you know the flexibility level of your wedding photo package. Ask this of your potential NJ wedding photographers. This is very important to ask!
3 – What is their photography style?
There are tons of different wedding photography styles, and different NJ wedding photographers. Some are light, some are true to color, some may appear vintage, some may look earthy, some are dark and moody. We recommend you browse photos of wedding photos to lock in your “style” so you can narrow down your search of NJ wedding photographers. Maybe you like DARK and LIGHT? In which case you want a photography who can be versatile to capture all different types of lighting settings. Also, ask them if night photography is possible if you like evening shots. 4 – When will you get your pictures back?
Does it matter to you if it takes months to get your wedding photos back, or do you list instant gratification and would prefer to get your wedding photos back in a few weeks. There is a big difference! This is an important topic to discuss with your potential wedding photographer to set reasonable expectations.
5 – Ask about emergency plans!
What happens if your photographer gets sick, has a flat time, goes into labor, or simply can’t be at our event. Will your photography refund you? Will they send someone in their place? If so, who? These are details you will want to discuss and iron out before signing on the dotted line.
6 – Insurance and contracts verbiage.
You always want to have a written contract that outlines all your agreed upon plans. Never rely just on verbal agreements or put money down until you have everything in writing. Also, check with your NJwedding venue as far as what insurance necessities they have regarding your wedding vendors. Your vendor will need to carry insurance, sometimes at a specific amount, in order to be allowed in the wedding venue.
