On a snowy December day in Smithville, New Jersey, Rachel and Mirek became one. Surrounded by friends, family, and the most beautiful Christmas decor the two said their wedding vows at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. With tears in his eyes, Mirek watched as Rachel walked down the aisle in a beautifully beaded mermaid gown. She carried red roses which perfectly complimented the subtle Christmas theme. We were so proud to be Rachel and Mirek’s NJ Wedding Videographers.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party took photos at the historic Smithville. The wedding party looked breathtaking but balanced it with playful photos on top of a snow-covered Merry-go-ground, sipping warm drinks, and laughing.
While the wedding party stopped by a local shop for some hot chocolates, the bride and groom wondered off. In the bride’s beautiful mermaid dress and furry shawl and grooms sharp tux, they took photos crossing quaint bridges, passing charming shops and baby duck wondering around.
We took a few photos for our video thumbnail, check them out!
The decor and setting worked perfectly together. It seems the entire town had come out to decorate with their best Christmas decorations. Which could not have been more perfect, covered with a thin layer of white snow.
The two then celebrated their union at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club. Award-winning cuisine and dedicated, detail-oriented service specialists come together in a beautifully historic setting to create incredible, unforgettable events. With a regal backdrop of pine forest and 670 acres of manicured grounds along the picturesque Reed’s Bay, Stockton Seaview is worlds away from the ordinary wedding or reception venue. Guests stay in comfort in 296 historic guest rooms equipped with modern amenities and enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, state-of-the-art fitness center, and 36 holes of challenging golf over two scenic courses. Relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatments at the adjacent world-class Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa allow guests look and feel their best.
There they enjoyed Polish traditions, dancing, and the most beautiful holiday cake. An especially fun part of the evening was when the bride and groom celebrated Polish roots. They were both given a shot glass. One was filled with water, the other with alcohol. They tipped their heads back and the one with the alcohol wears the “pants” in the marriage. Mirek ended up with the shot of alcohol. (You can check it out in our video below)
Their wedding cake was a multi-tiered and covered with delicate snowflakes. With silver holiday ornaments in-between each layer of cake, it stood extraordinarily tall. There was plenty to enjoy, but not before everyone took some fun photos in the photo booth. With cute mustaches, crowns, and costumes, there were plenty of fun memories created and shot.
Rachel and Mirek danced the night away as their DJ played some of their favorite songs so everyone could get into it. From the young children to older adults, everyone came together to wish the couple off.
