Lake Horicon – Borough of Lakehurst, NJ

Lake Horicon Park is located at the corner of Union Avenue and Lake Street. Surrounding picturesque Lake Horicon, the park provides recreational opportunities for swimmers, joggers, or anyone who enjoys a peaceful, sylvan setting. Lake Horicon, a 63-acre stream-fed lake, is the recreational jewel of the Borough of Lakehurst. At the rear of the lake, more picnic benches and grills await those who have an appetite for a scenic view as well as lunch. The sunset is perfect for your nj engagement photos.

Deep Cut Gardens – Middletown

Deep Cut Gardens and Demonstration Gardens are dedicated to the home gardener. The 54 acres of gardens and greenhouses are planned as a living catalog of cultivated and native plant materials to be observed through the seasons. Our renovated Parterre features 55 varieties of roses with more than 170 bushes. Discover new ways to improve your home garden by taking a walking tour of the park, ask the staff horticultural questions or visit the reference library. Garden programs and classes are also offered.

On December 29, 1977, Monmouth County took the title of the 39.09 acre Deep Cut Farm. The park was dedicated September 14, 1978 as a facility devoted to the education and enjoyment of the home gardener. The Monmouth County Park System had added acreage over the years. Currently, Deep Cut Gardens consists of 54 acres. The is a top location spot for nj engagement photos.

Double Trouble State Park Bavyille

Nice easy trails along former cranberry bogs. Nice place to run or walk on wide flat trails. Quiet and peaceful. Nice spot to go easy kayaking along the stream.
