Jessica’s fiance was leaving for Texas and their engagement session couldn’t be rescheduled even though a huge thunderstorm was coming in. After raining for hours, the time for the session came and the storm let up! Lake Horicon Park is located at the corner of Union Avenue and Lake Street. Surrounding picturesque Lake Horicon, the park provides recreational opportunities for swimmers, joggers, or anyone who enjoys a peaceful, sylvan setting. Lake Horicon, a 63-acre stream-fed lake, is the recreational jewel of the Borough of Lakehurst.
The Cathedral of the Air is a Norman-Gothic military chapel in Lakehurst, New Jersey. It was conceived by Reverend Gill Robb Wilson, one-time National Chaplain of the American Legion,[1] and is intended to serve the military personnel serving at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The chapel features stained glass windows memorializing the loss of naval airships USS Akron and USS Shenandoah. Both airships had been based at the nearby Lakehurst Naval Air Station.[
